Christmas in Shanghai

For our first Christmas in Shanghai, Libby's family flew in to spend two weeks in the FREEZING cold. Not exactly ideal but the main thing was we were all together. We spent Christmas Day with our new friends Ping, Lucy & kids at the Shangri-La 'cos we LOVE A BUFFET! :-) And what a buffet it was. Shay got her monies worth feasting on smoked salmon and chocolate ice cream. We even managed to convince Charley that he was only 5 for the day because 5 and under ate for free. On cue he told the maitre d' that he was only 5 (good boy) but half way through the lunch he said to the waiter, "you know I am really 6!" YIKES! Fortunately I don't think the waiter understood so we saved ourselves 250RMB. What lessons are we teaching our children :-)
