Halloween

Halloween is a pretty big deal over here and the school had a halloween day where the kids and teachers dressed up for a halloween parade complete with Jack O Lanterns lovingly carved by some of the mothers (not this one).  Shay and Charley went as pirates - the most I could manage at relatively short notice and lack of local knowledge about costumes so the Carrefour was the shop of choice.  Now I know where to go, it is so cheap to get a really fabulous costume made up - probably cheaper than my eye patch, vest and hook that I bought.  They still looked very cute.
